Employment Opportunity: Halifax's Young Curator
Application deadline this week

In response to public health guidelines and situational changes brought on by the COVID-19 outbreak, we extended the application deadline for Halifax’s Young Curator position to May 1, 2020 at 4:00pm ADT. Similarly, we have now adjusted the details of this competition to reflect the unfolding circumstances of our ‘new normal’. This year-long curatorial internship will begin as an online/work-from-home position, adapting as all cultural workers must in this new work climate. Interviews for the position will be held by voice or video conference. Accommodations will be met as needed.

We hope that you will share this opportunity with friends and colleagues alike—spreading the word about this chance for an emerging curator who identifies as Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Colour to spend a year working with three university art galleries.

Thank you for sticking with us through this ever-shifting process and for helping to our curatorial field to grow.

For more information about this opportunity and applicant requirements, the full job posting can be found here.
